Pond Life

With a young family the pond in our garden wasn't ideal, so as part of a revamp this summer the pond had to go. But not before I crept up on this chap one morning. The darkness around the picture is actually caused by the stones surrounding the pond, which I was shooting through.



P.S. The pond's residents were all safely re-homed!

The Elise

I'm a huge fan of anything to do with cars, so when a friend of mine said he was selling his beloved Lotus Elise I was keen to take some shots of it before he waved it goodbye. I've been in the car on road and on track and it's a serious bit of kit.

We tried a few different things and here are my favourites:

The shot below is taken in the car park at the local Waitrose. I love the symmetry in this shot, and the post-processing to give it that edgy look.

Welcome

So, here is my blog. One of the main reasons for me having a blog is so that when people ask me what I'm doing, I can say "I'm on the blog" and giggle like a school boy. Ah well, I'll probably grow up one day...
